Alex G. Amadeo is an American traditional and digital painter and makeup artist. Their work is inspired by queer history and pop culture, unusual objects, and their friends’ pets. Born in New Hampshire to parents from Chile and Puerto Rico, Amadeo has resided in Los Angeles, California since 2014. Amadeo holds a BA in Political Science from Boston University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, neither of which are related to art in the slightest but are still pretty nice accomplishments. When not doing or thinking about art, they can be found advocating for a better public transit system in LA County.
